THE PROBLEM ...
Wye is a
great place for pre-school and primary age children, but when you reach
secondary school there are fewer facilities. Both Youth Groups are very
good, but they can only operate once a week: there is nowhere else to
go.
NEW
IDEAS ...
Wye now has
a Youth Forum. This is an informal group
that aims to make the village a better place for young people - to live
and to socialise.
Wye with
Hinxhill Parish Council are well aware of the problem and have added to
the funds given in memory of the late Peter Hubble.
The
Parish Council now has over £5,000 available for youth projects.

First,
before the Youth Forum starts fundraising and spending lots of
money |
| We
need your ideas, your choices and your votes |
ACTION
...
ALL young
people must have an EQUAL chance to give ideas
and to vote.
This will
make the Youth Forum’s decisions fair, open and democratic.
What
facilities do you want most?
What are your priorities?
Who will represent and speak for you?
Are
YOU secondary school age and living in the Parish of Wye with
Hinxhill?
If so, please write to the Wye Youth Forum,
c/o The Parish Clerk, with YOUR ideas and priorities |
